I finally got an up close experience with my new neighbor!

Now I know that this is not a very good picture, but mind you I was only 100 yards from this massive animal. My hands were shaking from excitement and I was so tore up that it is not a clear picture and the camera was maxed out on the zoom. He was bedded down in a field behind our house. Jenn was wanting a good close up picture, so I got in the field and as I got closer he eventually got up and just polietely walked off. This is the first Elk we have ever had in our area. Ain't he beautiful?

New Landscapers in Town

If you need any yard work done, feel free to give these guys a try. They work all hours and would probably work for food.

These are my boys working in momma's flower bed.

Finishing Siding

Me and Andrew are putting the last few pieces of siding on the back of the house. We don't lack too much more and we will be finished! I will be so glad.

Happy 4th of July

We hope you have a safe and happy Independence Day! Thank God for our freedom.

Happy Birthday Becky

Today is my favorite mother-in-law's birthday. She is one year away from the big 50! Happy Birthday, we love you. You better look out next year though!

Custom Shower

This is my new shower that I am very proud of. Our neighbors made this custom deer head just for me. I do not have it grouted yet. It will look alot better. I have their link posted if you are interested. Mosaic Tile Inc.

Vanity

This is an 8 foot vanity my wife thought we needed. It is cherry wood stained with a mahogany finish. I plan on adding a bench to slide under the middle. No we should have plenty of room to get ready in the mornings.

My boys surprised me with t-shirts and caps for Father's Day.
Let me know what size you wear and I'll send you one. They are blue and orange.
This what the back looks like.

Picture at the Top

The picture at the top of the blog was taken from our back deck on a very foggy morning. We have a beautiful view of Byrdstown.

The front view of our house

This is the front of our house. We are planning to add a garage in the near future. This is a view of Andrew's new room and the walk-in closet.

Our basement

This is our basement we are very proud of. We have so much rock, that we were unable to dig a basement under the original house. You can never have to much storage.

The back of our bedroom

This is the back of our addition. We added a partial basement, bedroom, and master suite.

The begining of our addition

This is when we first started our addition.
Andrew's always eager to help dad.
